How To Make A Raspberry Smoothie

Raspberries are delicious, I love them in just about every kind of indulgent treat, including my smoothie recipes of course! Now I find that these make for a delicious and healthy smoothie for both adults and kids, why? Because I have found kids and my fellow adults alike love the sweet familiar berry taste.

Plus we get some much needed extra vitamins and fiber out of it too, and we could all use a little bit more of that right? In fact, Raspberries are known for having some of the highest levels of fiber per volume of any fruit, I can dig it! :). I also like the fact that these berries are readily accessible in frozen form all year round at your local grocery store, so it makes this a practical, affordable, and easy smoothie to make.

Now sometimes when raspberries are in season, they often come fresh at a much more affordable price, so I will often buy a lot of them and freeze some while using the rest as fresh berries for my various smoothies that use them.

Just make sure you have plenty of freezer space! Especially if you are like me and horde away your fresh fruit that you bought cheap and in season. This also happens to be a great way to guy organic without breaking the bank.
